About CatArts

CatArts (Creative Aesthetics Touches LLC) is a boutique studio dedicated to handcrafted wall art. Every piece begins with a feeling - a memory, a colour, a rhythm - and slowly transforms into a painting that can change the atmosphere of a room.

We design our artworks for people who want more than decoration: collectors who love texture and detail, home-owners who want a unique statement piece, interior designers searching for a focal point, and boutique hotels that want guests to feel something the moment they enter. Each painting is original, signed, and created in small quantities. There are no mass-produced prints - only one-of-a-kind artworks that reflect the personality of your space and the soul of the artist behind them.

From Our Studio in Oman to Your Wall

CatArts paintings are created in our studio in Oman but live all over the world. We treat packaging and shipping as carefully as the artwork itself; canvases are protected with custom materials and strong boxes so they can travel safely to your home, office or hotel. Our mission is simple-when you open the box and hang the painting, it should feel as if the artwork has just left the easel moments before.

The Artist Behind CatArts

I am Mansoureh A. Shoubi, a decorative artist and the founder of CatArts. I was born 1981 and raised in the lush, poetic and scapes of northern Iran, a region where nature, light, and texture quietly shape the soul. I spent my childhood surrounded by forests, mountains, and the subtle beauty of everyday life, where my love for art first took root.

From an early age, painting and decorative work were my deepest passions. Creating with my hands felt natural and instinctive. Yet, like many artists, I was gently guided away from my artistic path by family expectations and encouraged toward a more conventional academic journey.

I pursued higher education in paper and wood industries, disciplines closely connected to material, structure, and craftsmanship. I later earned my master’s degree from the University of Tehran, an experience that refined my understanding of materials, surfaces, and form, knowledge that would quietly return to serve my art years later.

After marrying my life partner, we traveled extensively across different countries. These journeys opened my eyes to diverse artistic cultures, design philosophies, and visual languages from around the world.
Museums, architecture, handmade objects, and local crafts became silent teachers, shaping my artistic vision in ways I could not yet fully articulate.

For many years, art remained a personal refuge, a heartfelt hobby practiced quietly alongside life’s responsibilities. Then, around the age of forty, something shifted. I felt a strong inner calling to return fully to art, not as a pastime, but as my true language. Five years ago, I began creating with renewed purpose, enthusiasm, and emotional honesty.

Today, I live with my family in Muscat, Oman, where a new chapter of my artistic journey continues. CatArts was born from the desire to create meaningful, handcrafted decorative artworks that connect emotion, texture, and space. Each piece reflects a dialogue between my roots, my travels, and my belief that art should feel personal, timeless, and alive.

My goal is to grow as an artist, to continuously refine my craft, and to share my artistic discoveries with the world, bringing beauty, depth, and quiet strength into the spaces people live in.

About CatArts Logo

The CatArts logo grew from a simple idea: to combine the grace of a cat with the flowing lines of artistic design. The circular emblem suggests a timeless seal, while the intricate pattern inside reflects the layered textures and details of our paintings. At the top rests a stylized cat, a symbol of beauty, elegance and quiet confidence that is loved in many cultures around the world. Just as a cat observes the world with curiosity and sensitivity, CatArts looks at every canvas with the same careful eye, turning colour, form and texture into artwork that feels alive on the wall.
